Come play at Bristol Old Vic! Whether you're new to the city or new to the theatre (or both!), students are welcome at Bristol Old Vic. We're the longest running theatre in the English-speaking world, yet on the cutting edge of drama in the South West – whether in our 255-year-old main house theatre, or in our modern Studio space.
Our doors are open, the coffee’s on — come on in. Discover our year-round programme of theatre shows , creative engagement and artist support . Plus, with our great food and drink , guided tours , Young SixSix library and free exhibitions , there are plenty of reasons to visit Bristol Old Vic.

Like all higher education providers, BOVTS is currently teaching all courses online during the lockdown. We will only resume face-to-face teaching fully when it is safe to do so. However, we remain committed to providing a sector-leading experience and are exploring various options for the delivery of our autumn term.
