Biografia. Henry George Charles Lascelles, sesto conte di Harewood, nacque il 9 settembre 1882 a Londra al 43 di Belgrave Square, la casa del nonno materno. È il figlio maggiore di Henry Ulick, visconte Lascelles, in seguito quinto conte di Harewood (1846-1929). Henry Lascelles è il marito della principessa Mary.
Biografia. Era il primogenito di Henry Lascelles, IV conte di Harewood, e della sua prima moglie, Lady Elizabeth de Burgh. Carriera. Ha guadagnato il grado di capitano dei Grenadier Guards. È stato aiutante di campo del viceré dell'India. Fu promosso a colonnello del Yorkshire Hussars Yeomanry e Lord luogotenente del West Riding of Yorkshire .
